THEY'VE had a tough couple of months.

But Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are doing everything in their power to save their marriage.

According to E! News the couple are said to be continuing to attend couples therapy in a bid to keep their marriage together.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have reportedly been going to counselling in a bid to save their marriage .

"They are going to continue counseling. They are using it as a forum to talk through all of their issues," a source told E! News.

The source revealed that while the 29-year-old reality star and her 34-year-old estranged husband are uncertain about their future, counseling has been a step in the right direction to working through their problems.

"Khloé has been very, very hurt by everything. There is a lot about Lamar that she is just learning and if they have any chance of making this work, there is a lot they need to come to terms with," the source said.

"They both really want to make this work. But they are not sure if they can," the source continued.

Adding: "This is the first step to see if they have a chance of healing and moving on. Only time will tell."

Khloe and Lamar were hit by scandal earlier this year after reports emerged that the NBA basketball player had a drug problem.

But the couple, who tied the knot back in September 2010, have begun spending time together again and even attended Kris Jenner's 58th birthday party together last week.

"It was just close family and friends. Lamar and Khloe are actually getting on very well and were couple-y together. It was very intimate and everyone was really pleased to spend time with them," a source told E! News at the time.
